Former Senior Chief Executive, Mauritius Public Service | Spent his entire professional career in the Public Service. Started as Clerical Officer in 1966 to climb up to Senior Chief Executive before his retirement in 2008.Witnessed the transition from colony to independent status. Served almost all ministries, including PMO, Foreign Affairs and Civil Service Affairs. Represented Mauritius in numerous international conferences, including OAU, NEPAD meetings. Participated in the discussions leading to the establishment of African Union. Certificates and Diplomas on Public Administration and Management obtained at University of Mauritius, University of Manchester, Institute of Applied Management Research, New Delhi, Institute of Management, Stockholm and Harvard University. Selected to participate in Young African Leaders’ Program in the United States in 1983. Appointed Chairman, National Pay Council (2008-2010). Obtained a Master's degree in Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility at the University of Technology in 2012. Presently Chairman, Advisory Board, Global Rainbow Foundation and Board Member.
